Sunset over South Mission Bay

"Sunset over South Mission Bay" is an 18x54 original done in oils on canvas. It shows the small arm of South Mission Bay jutting into the bay. It had once been connected with the mainland of Ocean Beach, but the bridge was finally taken down in 1955 to cut down on the traffic. If you look closely, you can see the famous roller coaster at the entrance to this now exclusively secluded area. The artist has enjoyed living here more than any of the other areas where she has lived in the San Diego area.
