"The Apache's Shadow" is an original 20x24 using a palette knife to apply oil and wax on canvas in the artist's style of Imagism. Chano, the model, was used many times and this painting is actually a portrait of him the artist felt compelled to accomplish. She and Chano held mutual admiration of each other. Chano admired her art work and she admired him, his life style and his stories of the past.
